For this Tenua mainly local woods were used. The ash of the body stood in our own garden and was felled and cut many years ago by the great-grandfather, and then spent many years in the attic of the workshop. Provided with a grayish rustic effect, it blends in harmoniously between the black pickups and the chrome-plated hardware. The dark rosewood fingerboard contrasts nicely with the neck made of cherry, also from our own harvest, which makes a striking contribution to the guitar’s appearance with its warm hue and wild texture. The mix of materials used in the neck joint adds an exciting detail to the back of the guitar. With its compact body, short scale length and a weight of less than three kilograms, this guitar is particularly handy while providing a versatile acoustic pattern with 24 frets and the two different pickups.
