A special aura surrounds this guitar, which, due to its appearance and the materials used, seems to have arisen from a parallel timeline. The cracked varnish exudes the charm of an instrument with an eventful history, while the powerful colour tone gives the instrument a youthful liveliness and freshness. All surfaces of the hardware have been artificially aged, which applies for the wood of the body as well, in which the natural biochemical aging process of the wood was simulated by a thermal treatment. In addition, the alder was given a dark brown basic tone, which contrasts wonderfully with the lacquer finish. The fretboard is made of Sonowood Flamed Maple, a fully biological high-tech product, which, in combination with the Schaller locking tuners and Luminlay side dots, allows history and modernity to merge thematically in this instrument.
With this guitar Tim and Roy have outdone themselves. The first time I held it in my hand and played it, I knew that this is a very special instrument, which inspires me very much and awakens completely new music in me. Along with it I feel as if I have been playing this guitar for decades. The sound is wonderful dynamic and vintage. The attention to detail and the dedication to go beyond any limits can be felt from the very first note! I am very happy that this guitar will accompany me on stages and in the studio in the future.
