As Tim has a love both for acoustic guitar playing with combined percussive elements and a heavy punchy electric guitar sound he got the idea to try to combine them in one instrument. This guitar resonates very well and with its piezo preamp and a good acoustic amplifier you can create crisp acoustic-like sounds. When combined with the neck single-coil-sized humbucker you can add wonderful warmth and depth to the sound. On the left of the body there is a “hit board” with two piezo pickups to create percussive sounds by tapping it with the fingers or the heel of hand. The reddish brown wood tones harmonize perfectly with the hardware in vintage copper. Please listen to “The odem of: Pulta” to get an idea of how this guitar can sound.
