Levora #14

This Levora has several highlights to offer. First and foremost, the spectacularly grained and stained top made from poplar burl is a real eye-catcher. Due to the bookmatching of the wood, the tubers in the lower area fan out like a peacock’s wheel, and the color treatment of the wood reinforces this impression. With the body made of yellowish black locust, an unusual but nevertheless very suitable wood was used for this special instrument, which contrasts pleasantly with the exciting top. The headstock continues the theme of the body as a “matching headstock”. At the height of the twelfth fret, the odem symbol was inlaid in Paua, expressing the loop of inspiration. The pickup covers were made from “glow-in-the-dark” epoxy. The same material was used to fill the cracks in the poplar burl, so this custom guitar is not only an eye-catcher in the light, but also offers a visually special experience in the dark. On the back, the back cover and the blue screws of the neck-body joint add clever accents. The hardware with a surface finish of nickel blends unobtrusively pleasantly into the overall appearance of this extraordinary guitar.
